EYELINE GOLF BALANCE ROD
The Eyeline Golf Balance Rod is a cutting-edge training aid designed to help golfers develop proper weight transfer, balance, and swing mechanics. By emphasizing stability throughout the swing, this tool addresses common flaws like swaying, early extension, or loss of posture that lead to inconsistent ball striking. Whether you’re a beginner mastering fundamentals or an advanced player refining your technique, the Balance Rod provides real-time feedback to build a powerful, repeatable swing.
Key Features of the Eyeline Golf Balance Rod
1. Adjustable Height and Angle
The Balance Rod features telescopic adjustments (36″ to 48″) and a pivoting base, allowing golfers of all heights and swing styles to customize the rod’s position for optimal feedback.

The alignment guides ensure you maintain proper spine tilt and hip height throughout the swing.
4. Build Core Strength and Stability
Resisting the rod’s contact during the swing engages core muscles, improving rotational power and endurance.
5. Accelerate Skill Development
Instant feedback reduces guesswork, allowing you to correct flaws faster than traditional drills.
WHY USE IT?
Good balance is essential to consistent shots, putts, chips, and full swings. Our body makes compensations to make us think we are in balance, so we don’t always know where our weight is truly distributed. While our bodies adjust surprisingly well to find balance, they will also find the easiest way to accomplish this balance. In golf, that could mean lifting up your head instead of turning your body – which isn’t good! The Balance Rod causes an initial imbalance that will force your body to use your legs for stabilization rather than your spine. Within a few swings, you will have grounded athletic posture and balance.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The EyeLine Golf Balance Rod challenges your stability, making it slightly harder to maintain balance. As you take a few swings, your body instinctively adapts, helping you identify weaknesses and improve your stability without conscious effort.
THE RESULT
Once you step off the Balance Rod, you’ll feel more stable and grounded than ever. Your body naturally fine-tunes itself, enhancing your balance for a more controlled and confident swing.
IT’S SIMPLE TO USE
- Position the Balance Rod just in front of your heels and stand on it.
- Let your body naturally find its balance—if your toes or heels lift, adjustments are needed. Your mind will begin fine-tuning.
- Start with smooth, half-swing shots. As you continue, you’ll feel more stable and in control.
- Progress to a full swing as your balance improves.
- Step off the Balance Rod and take a shot. You’ll immediately notice how grounded and stable you feel—an incredible difference!
HERE’S A DRILL
- Start with a 9-iron: Practice hitting shots while maintaining balance on the Balance Rod.
- Transition to full swings: Remove the Balance Rod and hit 10 shots with a full swing.
- Progress to longer clubs: Repeat the process using a 5-iron, then move on to the driver.
The goal is to create a sense of balance and muscle memory, keep your balance throughout your entire stroke.
This is a great drill for chipping, too.
