What SkyTrak is
SkyTrak Launch Monitor and Golf Simulator is a real-time golf practice and play system. This compact unit wirelessly connects to your compatible device and provides immediate shot launch data and ball flight visual feedback as soon as you hit the ball. Your SkyTrak goes where you go, which is something you can’t say about every launch monitor. Practice and play, every day of the year, in the comfort of your home. Take on your friends or beat your personal best with fun, skill-building games, and challenges. SkyTrak allows you to get the accuracy, reliability, and authentic simulation of a professional-grade launch monitor and simulation system for a fraction of the cost.
How SkyTrak works
- SkyTrak is a camera-based launch monitor that captures high-speed images of the ball immediately after impact. The images captured are used to measure parameters such as ball speed, launch angle, backspin, club speed, sidespin, and side angle to render shot shape and carry, offline, and total distance.
- SkyTrak enables you to input a series of desired variables and environmental factors such as weather and course conditions. This helps simulate real-world golf and provides more accurate shot analysis.
- The system is embedded with its own lithium-ion rechargeable battery which lasts up to 5 hours of continuous use and serves as its own Wi-Fi hotspot so it can operate with no wires, cables or tethering. Connect wirelessly to a device and generate launch data in seconds.
How to use SkyTrak
- Register your SkyTrak and fully charge the unit
- Indoor Practice – Select a hitting area that is 10’W x 10’D. Safe ceiling height varies and depends on your physical height and the length of your club.
- We recommend using a golf hitting mat to level your device with a ball for most accurate results whether using SkyTrak
- Make sure to place your SkyTrak approximately 1 foot away from your hitting area
- Download FREE SkyTrak App and connect your iOS or Android device to your SkyTrak Launch Monitor
- If there is no Wi-Fi connection your SkyTrak will send all the data to your iOS or Android device which can be synced to your historical data at a later time when you have access to Wi-Fi
- Make sure to use clean, relatively new, free from imperfections white golf ball with the logo for best results
- Place the ball where the SkyTrak’s laser points and turn the ball’s logo to face the SkyTrak lens for most accurate spin data reading

Works pretty damn well! Sometimes it doesn’t register the shot, but that’s ok. Should be able to replicate that perfect swing more than once! I suggest buying the protective case as this device seems to be a magnet to the ball coming back from the net. Also I’ve toed the ball a couple times and sent it straight into the thing, but the case kept it alive.

Yes, you’re going to get some misreads/nonreads. Lets just get that out of the way. Its not a Trackman. If you want perfect performance go spend literally 15-20x as much. This also does come with just a bit of a learning curve, but seriously, for the money you are NOT going to get a better LM. I was considering anywhere from the Garmin Approach R1, Rhapsodo MLM2Pro, up to the Bushnell Launch Pro. My eyes were deadset on the Mevo+ but I was really hesitant with radar-based in my smaller space and potentially for interference with it being in the garage. This changed everything, and getting it on a crazy sale made it even better. I could not be happier with a LM purchase. Gets a 4 star for accuracy because of the aforementioned misreads. But that’s life.

Works great! Definitely has helped me improve my game in a very short time. Was also able to test many different balls to determine which one worked best for my swing and equipment.

Great product!

Can’t beat what you get for the price. Shot shape is there and yardage is pretty close. Anytime I know I faded/draw/pulled/shanked it always shows up on the skytrak.

After a great deal of research I landed on buying a SkyTrak. It was a great decision and I have been very happy with the product. Ended up pairing it with TGC which has been the perfect setup. Well worth the investment.

Can’t imagine practice without this. Already seeing improvements. Unless you have visual feedback, indoor practice is useless. Well worth the money for anyone serious about becoming a better golfer.

My garage space was a little too small for a radar based system. I’m impressed with the accuracy and ease of use on this.

Pretty accurate and easy to setup. Distances are about 5 yards shorter than out on the range but true flight path and great analytics on contact
