Swing Caddie SC100 Golf Launch Monitor is the first and most affordable of the Swing Caddie Launch Monitors. It provides accurate visual feedback of your Swing Speed, Ball Speed, Smash Factor, and Carry Distance. The SC100 is remote controllable and includes other features such as Practice Mode, Target Mode, and Random Mode, which makes your practice incredibly productive. Random Mode chooses different distances for you, helping you dial in your distances with different clubs and test your accuracy, while Practice Mode lets you see how each shot stacks up versus the last. When your practice is over, you can see the averages of your last 100 shots in the Statistics mode. It features Doppler Radar Sensor and measures distance in Yards and Meters. Make your practice more productive with the Swing Caddie SC100!

Swing Caddie SC100 Golf Launch Monitor needs to be placed 40″- 60″ directly behind the ball.

Swing Caddie SC100 will significantly improve your game especially if:

  • You’re not sure how much distance you get with each club
  • You have difficulty selecting a club while on the course
  • You lack confidence with approach shots between 30 & 80 yards
  • You’re shot distance is low, relative to your swing speed
  • You seek practice ranges with short distances
  • Your practices are inefficient and boring

Play Modes:

Practice Mode: Practice mode displays your shot distance, swing speed, ball speed and smash factor as well as your time played, and total shot count. Select your club, set your Swing Caddie behind your ball, and you’re ready to play. Swing Caddie will automatically register your swing and displays the information until your next shot.

Target Mode: Target mode lets you set a target distance to challenge your consistency. Use the buttons or the remote to increase or decrease your target distance. Once your distance and club are set, you’re ready to go. One round in Target mode is 10 shot. After each swing, Swing Caddie will display your shot distance, swing speed, ball speed/smash factor, and score out of 10 to show you how close you were to your goal.

Random Mode: Random modes sets random target distances to challenge your accuracy. Instead of practicing one distance over and over, let Swing Caddies give you random target distances. Swing Caddie will display your first random distance and wait for your swing. After each shot, Swing Caddie will display your shot distance, swing speed, ball speed/smash factor, and a score out of 10. After a few seconds, it will switch the display to your next random target distance.

Swing Caddie SC100 Features:

Statistics: Swing Caddies stores your stats for each club. You can review your average distance, speed, smash factor for the day, as well as your overall stats for the last 100 shots.

Ball Speed and Smash Factor: Swing caddies use the club head speed (swing) and the ball speed (ball) to calculate your smash factor. You can choose whether to display ball speed or smash factor, or you can check both with a click of the remote.

Handy Remote Control: The remote control is small and light enough to keep in your pocket and allows you to adjust your settings without having to take a step or bend down.

Remote Control: Swing Caddie’s remote control is small and light enough to keep in your pocket and allows you to adjust your settings without having to take a step of bend down.

Lightweight and Portable: Swing Caddie SC100 features small and lightweight design allowing you to store the Swing Caddie easily in your golf bag so it is always there when you need it.

Swing Caddie SC100 Benefits:

Distance vs. Consistency: Which is more important? Distance is important, but consistency is necessary for control over your shot distance. Practice with Swing Caddie, and you’ll find that you have improved confidence, a better swing, and a much more meaningful (and successful!) score.

Little Changes, Big Results: Practicing the same golf swing over and over again can quickly get boring and static. Swing Caddie shows you the carry distance, swing speed, ball speed, and smash factor for each ball and club, and it has three play modes to make every swing interesting and enjoyable.

Enjoy Practice with Target and Random Modes: Swing Caddie provides instant visual feedback and stores stats for each club in three modes: Practice Mode, Target Mode, and Random Mode. The better your accuracy, the better your score! Challenge yourself to reach your target distance and score 10/10 every time.

Hands-Free: As soon as you’ve chosen your club, you’re ready to play! Swing Caddie’s remote control lets you adjust your settings without having to take a step.

Gave them a bad review because the product was defective, however, they’ve been very responsive and have offered a refund. I guess it’s not their fault the product didn’t work.

The Swing Caddie provides good feedback for swing speed, ball speed and distance whether on the range or hitting into a net. Great for practicing partial sots and getting distance feedback.

remember I'm a mid to high handicapper so it works perfect for me...if you're a low handicapper or scratch golfer you may need to upgrade cause on your long clubs like hybrids/fairway woods/driver and if you have a swing speed over 105 mph I don't think it is as accurate. But Lob wedge/AW/SW/PW/9i-6i, and 5 hybrid...pretty spot on and so easy to gap your irons with it...remote and voice are so helpful as well. Greatest Father's Day present ever!!!

Pretty accurate from what I can tell. There are instances where it will give a reading on a topped or duffed shot based solely off of club speed and not actual ball flight. Great to use for 1/2 to 3/4 swings to dial in yardages and proper gapping of irons.Bottom line, it IS WELL WORTH the money.

I bought the sc100 and an es12 at the same time for comparison. After testing both side-by-side I trust the data from the sc100 more. I'll admit that I may not have the es12 set up properly, but the yardage readings are sometimes 20+ different. The sc100 matches what I know from experience hitting my clubs and also with what I see at the range. All in all the sc100 has improved my game and I trust the data it gives me about my swing.

Knowing the swing speed, ball speed, smashing factor and distance, etc are highly essential parameters in golf swing and those values are reasonably sensitively shown with my swing.Carry and total distances for long clubs (woods) show some discrepancies (10-20% shorter than actual values). However, since those parameters are all related each other, they are still useful in improving or correcting your swing pattern.

I was decently skeptical about this due to mainly the backspin obviously not being tracking by this launch monitor. But I've found accuracy on distance to be spot on with what I experience from hitting the balls and then using my laser range finder to see the actual distance.I've even found it to be accurate enough when leaving off the settings regarding which club I'm using, ie hitting a 7i when the swing caddy is set to driver doesn't produce wildly innacurate numbers. I'm guessing that the radar does get some estimation of launch angle, or that the way that it measures sort of compensates for unusual trajectory.Anyway, carry distances are accurate enough, certainly a lot more accurate than me estimating using my eyes, which makes my time on the range in the evenings a lot more satisfying as it's usually too dark to see the tail end of my hits through the air or where they landed.I find that swing speed is the less accurate of the two measuresments, which is fine by me, but what that means is that smash factor should also be taken with a grain of salt. The reason I know is that I actually had two of these set up, and while they would often agree on all counts, they would only ever disagree with swing speed. And I find swing speed varying a lot more than carry distance, which if you know how people swing in general, is generally not true (most people have very static swing speeds regardless of what they feel they might be doing differently), there is far greater difference in ball striking, ie smash factor and ball speed.Anyway, don't hold out for the one that lets you dial in lofts, as I said the club setting doesn't seem to matter greatly and different irons launch differently despite lofts being the same anyway.

I am not a solid swinger or a long hitter by any chance, but here are a couple of useful points of this device.- Better understanding of true carry distance of your clubI had three practice session in the range with this device and had a round yesterday. Result: with better understanding of carry distances of every club I have, I was able to play better. For example, I knew my 5 wood is longer than 3 hybrid, but didn't know the carry distance of those are about the same. I was able to confirm that I have a higher chance to carry 175 yard with my 3 hybrid than with my 5 wood. I started using high spin balls to better control around the green and this became more important.- Get to try different swing improvements and measureWith a same club, my experiments with different rhythm of my swings showed that I could hit a ball more consistently longer with a slower club head speed. 76 mph and smash factor of 1.49 is better than 85 mph and smash factor of 1.3 on my 7 iron. On an occasional thin low hit, the device tends to record a higher club speed resulting in a lower smash factor probably it's confused with the ball and the club at the moment. But overall it gives you a feedback that is consistent with how you felt about the shot you made.- Target mode and Random modeThrough Target mode, I get to confirm on my consistency on each club. Random mode gives me a good exercise on my sand wedge for approach shots. With a little bit of added imagination (like there's a bunker in front of you and only a bit of room on the green), this gives you an intense simulation.Of course this is a low cost device so there are some drawbacks.- Like many mentioned in the reviews, this device won't be analyze the distance or club head speed accurately on a bad shot. Low shots carry distance seem correct but the head speeds are off. On a fade or slice, it simply records slower ball speed correctly, but on a pull it records the distance as if they were a perfect shot. So in Practice mode, you're score might not reflect on a bad pull that would cost you a bunker shot to recover in the real game.- If you forgot to switch the club, it will confuse you. Everytime you switch the club, you should press a button on the remote. Once you get used to it this becomes a minor problem.Overall, I am very satisfied and convinced this will be a constant coach to my swing and my game in the long run. I recommend anyone hitting 8 out of 10 balls the way you like if not perfect, give it a try.

I'm not sure exactly how accurate the readings are but it's consistent so I can judge from shot to shot and day to day how I'm hitting the ball. It's a fun gadget for golf nerds like me. :)

I had mixed emotions about this purchase, but with the sale price I had to pull the trigger. I noticed that most of the negative reviews where for two reasons. One the unit does not pick up all shots. After testing this unit at the range I had nine shots that the unit did not pick up. Each one of them was a shot that I mishit. Either hit it fat and shot did not carry as expected or skulled it and shot was a low line drive. All other shots read perfectly and are where very helpful. The only clubs I would not recommend using are wedges, but hey that not why you are buying this guy anyway! Secondly the remote not working. I was out in the bright sun and had no issues with the remote reading on the unit. The only thing I could see happening is if someone didn't remove the protective film on the monitor screen itself. Most of my shots registered within a few yards of actual distance, from time to time it would have a shot much lower that the ball actually traveled. The only thing that I can deduce is that with the newer model with the ability to change loft and has a barometer in it for calibration you may see slight differences. I live in Colorado so altitude could be an issue.Overall for the price you cannot go wrong. I highly recommend.

I'm surprised how often I've used this. My main intention was to get good info on how far I hit each club, but the swing speed and smash factor readings have helped me really understand what fast and pure hits feel like.
