The Carl's HotShot Golf Mat System is designed to deliver realistic turf interaction without making extended practice unnecessarily hard on your wrists, elbows, or shoulders. Its high-quality fibers balance softness with useful shot feedback, helping golfers identify clean contact and poorly struck shots.
The anti-fatigue construction creates a comfortable stance and hitting surface for simulator play, lessons, and regular home practice. It also accepts real tees when used with the Standard HotShot insert.
Multiple mat sizes and optional components make it easier to build a hitting area around your room and practice requirements. Compact offset-hitting configurations work well for an individual golfer, while centered-hitting mats can support both right- and left-handed players.
Each mat is approximately 1.75 inches thick and includes a replaceable hitting area.
The replaceable insert system allows the most heavily used part of the mat to be changed without replacing the complete stance mat. Inserts measure approximately 30 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 1.75 inches high.
The Standard insert uses the same durable turf construction as the main mat. It provides a firm, consistent hitting surface for frequent practice and accepts real tees.
The Foam Divot Strip provides a softer impact response for golfers who prioritize joint protection. It is designed to reduce shock while maintaining practical feedback during simulator sessions.
The Gel Divot Strip is designed to recreate the interaction of a club moving through natural turf. Its responsive gel core offers realistic feedback on clean, heavy, and fat strikes.
The modular EPDM rubber base helps prevent the mat from moving during full swings and adds cushioning between the hitting surface and the floor. Interlocking pieces allow the base to be assembled for the selected mat size and reconfigured when the practice area changes.
Cuttable indoor tees sit on top of the hitting surface and can be adjusted to a preferred height. Their black finish is intended to minimize interference with launch-monitor ball tracking.
Driver tees are approximately 2.66 inches tall, while iron tees are approximately 1.66 inches tall. These tees are compatible with the Standard insert and should not be used with the foam or gel divot strips.
An additional Standard, Foam, or Gel insert can be kept as a replacement or used to change the feel of the hitting surface. The modular opening also allows compatible inserts to be incorporated into other flooring systems.
The optional rubber ball tray sits beside the mat and uses an inclined surface to keep golf balls accessible during practice.
